Training to become a certified bike tour guide

The market for guided bike groups is booming!
During the pandemic, many bus operators purchased a bicycle trailer. Many guests own an e-bike and want to get to know the country and its people.
However, there are too few bike tour guides who know about e-bike groups, cultural enjoyment cycling, theory and technology.
On March 24-26, we offer a course in Vienna to train as a certified bike tour guide*in.
In this hands-on course, we’ll teach you the essentials of being a bike tour guide. You’ll also get lots of tips for everyday bike guiding, like useful apps, what should go in your gear bag, how to properly set up a bike, and how to make small repairs.
In addition, we work out the structure of day tours based on the most important Austrian river bike paths (Enns, Inn, Drau, Ybbs and Mur).

We are looking forward to your registration!

Webinar support

In the last two days we have been attending a major conference. As a webinar, we have the event with backstage area or greenroom area so that the speakers* could prepare during the webinars and were not shown to the participants* until their own presentation. We also provided live subtitles, branding options, managed the video feeds, as well as presentations. Of course, the conference was streamed by us on YouTube, Facebook and the respective websites and their chats were hosted by us.

Stream of a theater production at the Circus of Knowledge

We at Hybrid Streaming were allowed to record a theater production called “Zehn Zeugen sajnen mir gewesn” yesterday at the Circus of Knowledge. The productions at the Circus of Knowledge at the Johannes Kepler University are always particularly challenging, because they are performed in multiple, different places. That’s why we were on site with nine cameras and edited the whole thing live to make it possible that the director got the complete recording already today.
You can find more about our activities and offers on our website: Home – Hybrid Streaming

Hybrid streaming of club meetings

The Bundestag has now decided that in future association meetings can also be held hybrid. We at Hybrid Streaming think this is a great thing, of course, especially to get members involved. Especially for small clubs it is a great advantage to be able to set up club meetings easily with a laptop and a meeting program. We are happy to help with larger gatherings that may even have a pre and post program that we can also broadcast. Due to our experience with various international events, as well as the setup with several wireless cameras, wifi and microphones, we are very fast in setup and dismantling, as well as extremely flexible.

4 – 6 March 2021

There is an exciting program:

Joint exchange of experience
Review of the International Day of Tourist Guides/Guides
Many speakers from international organizations and museums
Professional training
Networking among like-minded people
There is always a special feeling of togetherness at the annual conferences.
The WFTGA wants to evoke that in social activities as well and has come up with exciting meetings such as cooking, dancing and mixing cocktails together.

We at www.guide-training.com and www.hybrid-streaming.com take care of the technical implementation of the complete conference.

We especially recommend Professional Day 2 to you. Many of the speakers are leading experts in the scene and would like to share and discuss their knowledge with us guides.

On the topics of augmented and virtual reality, we may demonstrate our practical examples from Linz, Innsbruck and Vienna.

virtual 19th Bavarian Guest Guide Day from Tegernsee

The winter months are always a good opportunity for exchange with tour guides from all over Bavaria. However, due to the current situation and after already a year of forced break, the organizers of the Bavarian Guest Guide Day have decided this time for a virtual format.
We at Tourism Training have made our own company out of our many hybrid and livestreaming projects over the last few months: www.hybrid-streaming.com. With this we are allowed to broadcast the virtual guest guide day live from Tegernsee. It will be an exciting program and will certainly not only be of interest to the guides: https://mgv-muenchen.de/bgft
The individual program points can also be wonderfully credited for the tour guide qualification (two or three stars) of the BVGD.
