Die Garten Tulln has dozens of show gardens, a water playground and a walkway high into the treetops. Your guide turns it into a young naturalists' tour.
Die Garten Tulln is a large, ecologically managed garden show on the Danube. Your guide leads the family through themed gardens and lets the children smell, touch and identify plants. Who can find the herb that smells like lemon, and which flower attracts the most bees?
A highlight is the treetop walk, which leads high above the ground into the crowns of the floodplain forest. From up there you work out together who lives in the forest and why the Danube wetlands are so precious.
Along the way there are breaks at playgrounds and time to try things out. The garden show is open roughly from April to October. The tour is private and priced per group.
