Bike Tour from Villach: The Drava and Lake Faak
Cycling to a turquoise lake below the Mittagskogel

This private bike tour takes you from Villach along the Drava River to Lake Faak, one of the most beautiful swimming lakes in Carinthia. The route is mostly flat, with views of the Mittagskogel peak in the Karawanks.
Villach is an ideal base for cycling because several bike paths meet here, including the Drava Cycle Path. From the old town you ride along the river out into the countryside, past riverside woods and small villages.
Lake Faak shines turquoise, with a small island in its middle and the striking Mittagskogel rising behind it on the Slovenian border. Your guide tells of Roman roads, border history and summer retreats, and knows the best spots for a break on the shore.
This is a private tour: just your own group, your pace and plenty of time for questions. Our licensed guides are happy to adjust the focus to your interests before the day.
