BikeSalzburg- Duration

This private bike tour circles Lake Zell, one of the cleanest swimming lakes in the Alps, with views of the Kitzsteinhorn. The loop is mostly flat and combines nature, local history and relaxed breaks by the water.
From the center of Zell am See you ride along the promenade toward Thumersbach on the eastern shore. It gets quieter here, with meadows and swimming spots and the town reflected in the lake opposite.
In the south you pass the lakeside nature reserve, an important wetland for birds and plants. Your guide talks about taming the Salzach River, winter sports and the first summer visitors to the Pinzgau.
Via Schüttdorf and the western shore you return to Zell am See, with time for a café stop or a swim. Bikes and e-bikes can be rented or arranged on request.
