During Advent the old town of Graz turns into a string of small markets, each with its own character. Your guide leads you from the main square past Franziskanerplatz to Glockenspielplatz and explains where the Advent wreath, Barbara branches and Krampus come from.
In the arcaded courtyard of the Landhaus stands the life-size ice nativity, a fixture of Christmas in Graz. You will also get tips on Styrian treats such as Kletzenbrot fruit bread and gingerbread, and learn where to end the evening with a cup of punch.
