Linz by Bike: The Cultural Mile from Ars Electronica to Tabakfabrik
Art, technology and industrial heritage along the Danube

Linz has transformed itself from an industrial town into a city of culture. This bike tour along the Danube shows you how.
The city's cultural landmarks line the riverbank: the Lentos Art Museum in its glass shell, the Brucknerhaus concert hall named after composer Anton Bruckner, and across the river the Ars Electronica Center, which glows in changing colours at night. Your guide explains why Linz was European Capital of Culture in 2009 and is now a UNESCO City of Media Arts.
The ride continues to the Tabakfabrik, a modernist former tobacco factory that now houses creative studios and start-ups. In the port, Mural Harbor displays huge murals on warehouses and silos.
Bikes or e-bikes can be rented or arranged for you on request. The route is flat and ideal for river cruise guests too. The tour is private and priced per group.
