Lake Neusiedl is flat, wide and surrounded by vineyards, an ideal cycling area. Your guide shows you the finest places on the western shore.
Lake Neusiedl is the largest steppe lake in Central Europe and, together with its surroundings, a UNESCO World Heritage site. On flat cycle paths you ride through vineyards and along the reed belt, while your guide explains why the lake is so shallow and has almost dried out several times in its history.
In Rust, storks nest on the rooftops of the old town in spring and summer. The little free town bought its privileges with wine in the 17th century, a story your guide loves to tell. Depending on the route, Purbach with its cellar lane or Mörbisch are added.
Bikes or e-bikes can be rented or arranged for you on request. A wine tasting along the way can be included on request. The tour is private and priced per group.
