How did an imperial child live, and why are Lipizzaner horses born dark? On this tour the children ask the questions.
Your guide turns the Hofburg into a giant history playground. With little riddles, a treasure hunt and picture cards, children discover coats of arms, crowns and hidden symbols on the façades and find out how strict daily life at the imperial court really was.
Along the way you meet the Fiaker, Vienna's horse-drawn carriages, and learn why the Lipizzaner of the Spanish Riding School are born dark and only turn white later. Kids who pay attention can solve the riddles on their own.
The pace is child-friendly, with breaks and short distances. Parents get the key facts about the city along the way. The tour is private and priced per group.
