Few cities have attracted as many great composers as Vienna. On this walk you will see where they lived, worked and were celebrated.
Mozart lived on Domgasse during his most successful Vienna years, and it was here that he wrote The Marriage of Figaro. Beethoven moved house countless times, and one of his homes was the Pasqualati House on the old city wall. Your guide brings these places alive with stories of patrons, rivals and legendary concerts.
The walk continues to the State Opera and the Musikverein, home of the famous New Year's Concert. In the City Park you will find the golden statue of Johann Strauss II, the Waltz King.
The tour is a perfect prelude to an evening concert, and your guide is happy to share programme tips. The tour is private and priced per group.
